The ministry of agriculture and rural development of Vietnam held the launch ceremony of Vietnam's first batch of dairy products exported to China on October 22 in Hanoi, capital of Vietnam. Sterilized milk and prepared milk produced by TH group Vietnam will be the first Vietnamese dairy products allowed to be exported to the Chinese market and put on the table of Chinese consumers.


Vietnamese minister of agriculture and rural development nguyen chun-kiang congratulated Vietnam on the first batch of dairy products exported to the Chinese market at the launch ceremony, fully recognizing the great potential of the Chinese market and the important opportunities brought by Vietnamese agricultural products.


Speaking at the ceremony, Chinese ambassador to Vietnam xiong bo said agriculture plays an important role in the industrial structure of both countries. China has become the world's largest importer of agricultural products. The strengthening of bilateral cooperation in agriculture and trade in agricultural products bears on the livelihood of millions of people and is of great economic and social significance. Xiong bo said that the continuous strengthening of china-vietnam cooperation in the field of agriculture is inseparable from the sound development of bilateral relations. It is hoped that both sides will make joint efforts to push for comprehensive and balanced development of china-vietnam cooperation in various fields.

At the release ceremony, TH group of Vietnam and jinqiao international food city of wuxi, China also signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation. As the general agent of TH group dairy products in China, wuxi jinqiao international food city currently distributes well-known brand products from more than 60 countries and regions. Yu huanchun, chairman and general manager of wuxi jinqiao international food city, said in an interview that after six months of preliminary operation, TH milk, a Vietnamese national brand, has finally officially entered the Chinese market with a population of 1.4 billion. We are confident that with our strong sales network, we will be able to complete the first batch of us $10 million milk import contract on schedule and win the favor of Chinese consumers with Vietnamese quality products.


Vietnamese TH group founder CAI xiang said at the launch ceremony that it is of great significance for Vietnam to officially export dairy products to China. On the one hand, it shows that the Chinese market has great appeal, on the other hand, it also shows that Vietnamese dairy products have reached the strict standards of the Chinese market, and the quality of Vietnamese dairy products is recognized by the international market.


It is reported that TH group began to invest "high-tech dairy cow breeding and dairy processing" project in October 2009, with a total investment of 1.2 billion us dollars. Its breeding base in nantan county, yi 'an province, Vietnam, was rated as the largest high-tech dairy cow breeding base in Asia in 2015, with a total population of 45,000 cows. Each cow is equipped with an electronic chip for real-time tracking and monitoring. At present, TH group has 72 kinds of fresh milk products, accounting for 40% of the market share of Vietnamese fresh milk.


In April this year, when Vietnamese prime minister nguyen xuan phuc was invited to attend the second "One Belt And One Road" international cooperation summit, relevant departments of China and Vietnam signed the protocol on animal health and public health conditions of Vietnamese dairy products exported to China. On October 16, TH group became the first Vietnamese company to export dairy products to China with the export code issued by the General Administration of Customs of China.
