For many years, the education fair in Burghausen has been an institution as a fair for occupational choice, advanced training, formation and studies. In collaboration with global players, renowned companies from the region present a wide range of apprenticeships for school leavers, advanced training opportunities for interested adults and a great variety of study courses – a special focus is on dual study courses, which become more and more popular. Over 100 exhibitors involved in crafts, industry, chemistry, plant engineering, mechanical engineering, social matters, care, health, artists, media, IT, trade, banks, insurances, administration and independent professions provide a deep insight into the every day work life of their business. They present their enterprise and the respective products and services skilfully and goal-oriented. At the exhibition stands the interested visitors can experience the central meaning of the right profession for the individual employee. The visitor learns everything worth knowing about the respective profession in close contact with the present trainees and their trainers. The exhibitors get to know each other and new networks as well as successful business relationships are created. A promising framework programme including a competition with attractive prizes completes the education fair. The rural districts of Altötting and Mühldorf am Inn, respectively, are in charge of the annual organization. The exhibition centre situated in the town centre of Burghausen is very easily accessible for the visitors. Free parking is available within walking distance and in sufficient numbers. A railway station is located in the immediate vicinity.
